Kaitlyn's Mission
A little bit of background on me: I grew up in a military family, so I bounced around a bit growing up, but I was born and spent most of my childhood here, in Texas, and I consider this home. Growing up, I always had a love of working with children, from babysitting to working in daycare facilities, working as a medical assistant in a pediatrics office, and eventually my most important job of all, being a Mother! I have two young boys, aged 2 and 5, and they are my whole world.
When I met my husband, it was by chance at a friendly function in Charleston, SC, where I was living at the time; me working as a medical assistant and him an attorney in Beverly Hills, California. My husband soon began working remotely. We then decided to close the distance between us and determined it would be best to raise our boys in The Great State of Texas!
I then began here in Houston as a stay-at-home mom and started my journey to become an elementary teacher. Soon thereafter, I was asked to work at a church's preschool ministry center. After a year of being a preschool teacher, I was offered the position as supervisor of the preschool ministry, and I was elated! I have been working as the supervisor ever since, and I love it, but it is a very part-time position.
My dream has always been to open my own childcare center, and ultimately start my own official preschool. I am so excited to be living out my dream and would love for you and your little ones to be apart of it!!
